About

Marcos Bamondes is the Founder & Chairman of CARGOWARD® and the Founder & CEO of Seachios® Marine Services. With a career spanning the modern era of Brazilian shipping, Marcos has been active in the sector since 1979, bringing long-term perspective and hands-on operational knowledge to the leadership of complex maritime service organizations.

In 1980, Marcos founded Cargo Par Provider, a business that evolved over decades and, in 2025, became CARGOWARD® Maritime Limited and expanded alongside Seachios® Marine Services—strengthening international positioning while preserving the operational discipline developed in Brazil’s most demanding ports. His leadership is grounded in both entrepreneurship and structured delivery: Marcos is trained in Business Administration and operates with a project-management mindset focused on scope clarity, risk control, and reliable execution.

Marcos’s experience covers the full spectrum of port and shipboard operations, including shipping support, vessel maintenance, naval engineering services, ship agency, and technical service campaigns such as cargo hold cleaning, tank cleaning, and related ship sanitation scopes. He is widely recognized as a pioneer in professional cargo hold cleaning in Brazil, having helped establish the service discipline, operational standards, and delivery model that later became a reference point in the local market.

As Founder and Chairman, Marcos provides strategic governance and long-range direction—aligning operational capability with shipowner expectations, compliance requirements, and evolving industry standards. At Seachios®, he also leads executive strategy and international development, ensuring service offerings remain technically credible, well-documented, and scalable for modern fleet needs.

Across both organizations, Marcos is known for building execution systems that prioritize safety, accountability, and technical rigor—transforming high-variability port operations into disciplined workflows that protect cargo suitability, schedules, and stakeholder confidence.
