Commercial Representative
CARGOWARD® Maritime Limited is expanding its commercial coverage in Greece to better serve shipowners, charterers, and technical managers seeking reliable execution support in Brazil and Latin America. This position is designed for a high-trust professional who can represent a technical scope with precision—without exaggeration—and convert requirements into clear, documented proposals.
As Commercial Representative (Greece), you will introduce and develop opportunities across our core solutions: Port Agency & Clearance, Cargo Hold Cleaning, Tank Cleaning & Sludge Disposal (VLSFO/HFO), and Underwater Hull Inspection & Cleaning. You will qualify leads, align scope expectations with our operations team, and support the path from first engagement through order confirmation.
Compensation: Commission of 10%–15% of the service value (agreed per deal), plus performance-based gratification/bonus. Commission is recognized under the commercial terms (typically after contract confirmation and client payment/collection).
What we look for
Proven access to Greek shipowners, operators, chartering desks, and technical management.
Strong technical literacy in shipping operations and maintenance scopes.
Ability to qualify requirements, document scope, and protect operational integrity (no over-promising).
High ethical standards: compliance-first commercial conduct and traceability of communications.
Professional English (Greek preferred) and disciplined follow-up/pipeline management.
What we offer
Commission structure: 10%–15% per service contract (deal-based agreement), plus gratification/bonus for sustained performance.
Technical backbone: Direct access to an operations team capable of scoping, planning, and executing port services with documented deliverables.
Portfolio depth: Multi-service capability across port agency/clearance, hold cleaning, tank cleaning & sludge disposal, and underwater inspection/cleaning.
Credibility by documentation: Structured scope definitions, evidence-based deliverables, and professional reporting aligned with operational and P&I expectations.
Long-term account potential: The role is built for repeat nominations and continuity—not one-off transactions.
Operational reach: Execution support across major Brazilian ports and regional coverage when required by voyage planning.
The selection process
Intro call (20–30 min) — background, network fit, and territory coverage.
Commercial/technical alignment (45–60 min) — how you qualify opportunities, capture scope, and manage stakeholders.
Practical case exercise — a short scenario: converting a shipowner request into a clean scope brief (no sales pitch; focus on clarity).
Final discussion & terms — commission framework, confidentiality, compliance expectations, and onboarding checklist.
Before you apply
This is a commission-based commercial role. It suits professionals who already operate with autonomy, network access, and consistent pipeline discipline.
You must be comfortable working with documented scope and compliance-first execution (clear traceability, no informal shortcuts).
You will be expected to produce clear written summaries of client requirements and maintain a structured opportunity log.
We do not support practices that compromise integrity (e.g., misrepresentation of capability, undisclosed inducements, or unclear third-party arrangements).
